Amanda Brown

Amanda Brown (NC11022, SC8331) has been a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist in both North and South Carolina for more than a decade. She graduated from Southeastern Institute in Charlotte, NC, in 2010 with certifications in both Swedish and Neuromuscular bodywork. She has continued to advance her massage skills with Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Post Surgical Lymphatic Drainage, and Pre-natal & Postpartum, as well as Bodywork. She was a member of the teaching staff of the North Carolina School of Advanced Bodywork, assisting new therapists learn the skills they need to experience the joy and fulfillment she has found in helping others. 

Amanda is very knowledgeable about muscle groups and soft tissue dysfunction. As a former member of the US Armed Forces, she understands that stress, fatigue, and injury can affect not only the body, but the mind and spirit as well. When she was first medically discharged from the military, it was massage that lessened her pain, gave her back her mobility, and steered her into her new life and passion. She is focused on pain management and relief as well as realigning the body’s natural balance. She is very intuitive and customizes each session for the needs of the client.

Amanda has worked on clients ages 9 to 92 and from all walks of life, from celebrities to business professionals and athletes of all performance levels; there is a need for relief, relaxation, and balance for all.
